life transitions on women in middle
adulthood. Discover holistic approaches to

Afternoon of
Reflection ~ Deepening Our Focus and Our Faith
Faith is not something we “get” once and then
hang onto for the rest of our lives. Rather it
is a continually evolving process of moving
closer to God and at times moving away. Prayer
is a way we deepen our faith, yet in today’s

spending quiet time with God. Noise and
distractions disturb our prayer. We ask
questions but don’t seem to hear the answers.
Step away for a day to experience prayer that
deepens your focus and your faith. Invited
guest, Janene Ternes, will share her
inspirational story and lead us in a variety of
prayer experiences using music, every day
movements, Scripture, and guided meditation.
Basic movements will be taught which can be done
by anyone, regardless of experience or physical
limitation. All are invited to reflect, relax,
and deepen your faith.
