About Janene

Janene Ternes, founder of Prayer in Motion LLC, is a gifted teacher and mentor who provides tools and inspiration to open new avenues of spiritual growth. Using music and movement, Janene helps groups and individuals feel a closer relationship with God. Foundational to her success is Janene’s deep spirituality, love of music and professional background as a certified Spiritual Director.

Janene was commissioned through the Ignation Spirituality program at Manresa Jesuit Retreat House. Students across the country have found her programs a liberating and extremely fruitful form of prayer. The power of Prayer in Motion has been demonstrated and experienced by lay people and clergy from a wide variety of denominations. Janene is an active spiritual guide who companions people in their personal faith journeys. She meets regularly with her own Spiritual Director, and also works with a peer supervision group. Janene’s mission is to help others discover and enhance their own unique relationship with God.
