Continuing the Journey –
Bringing Light Out of Darkness
October 30, 2021
Saturday 9:30 am - 3:00 pm
St. Francis Retreat Center, DeWitt MI
Are you yearning to hear more from God and bring something positive and lasting out of the pandemic? If you are like many, the events of the past 18 months have helped you more clearly recognize what is important to you. But now what? How do we use these learnings to lead us to a life even more in alignment with God’s desire for us and what we truly desire?
God is always seeking to bring good out of our challenges and works together with us to accomplish this. To truly collaborate with him, we must listen deeply, which can be difficult in the course of our daily lives. Join me to experience new ways of praying, using Scripture, music and movement, that will open our minds and hearts to encounter God. Basic everyday movements will be taught which can be done by anyone, regardless of age, experience, or physical limitation.
Together, we will each reflect on what we have learned during the pandemic, ask God to lead us, and discern our next steps. Opportunity for optional attendance at Mass will be offered.
Cost for the day, which includes lunch and program materials, is $55. Register by October 22.
Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” ( John 8:12 )
